Welcome to the Ice Caves
Wisconsin gets pretty damn cold every once in a while. But sometimes it gets so frigid, that its lakes and caves turn into ecological marvels. The fringe of Lake Superior is home to many caverns, that when are exposed to extraordinary cold, convert into what look like frozen knife farms. I've come to the conclusion that these photos are probably what it looks like to be in the mouth of a shark. As long as the weather stays unbearably crappy, the caves will continue hosting nearly 1,000 people a day to venture the potential death traps.
