Well a furry friend would be a better description, pet sounds to much like a toy. |

Carl, they are cute, smart, and fun, but you wouldn't want one for an inside pet. A cousin had a coon named jigg that used to play with her dogs, but it couldn't understand when neighbors dogs went after it. I've lived in the country almost all my life and here in Florida it is open hunting season year around due to rabies. You can kill them or trap them nearly any way but you must never transport them under threat of heavy fines. We lived many years next door to a zoo & I have some funny stories to tell about raccoons if/when I get time. |

They are little bastard pets i've been told, but worth the trouble if you patience and space. In the house would be out of the question, though they would probably manage to get in somehow the lil' rascals |

It was fairly obvious i thought, and the holes are most likely done for the sake of the little beast. They like holes and tunnels. |

^^ I don't think i could bring myself to liquidate one of those furry little ****s, i like them too much, from afar.
We dont have them around these parts, chances might be good i would think differently if i lived next to them and finding my backyard in utter ruins. |
