And i always felt that polticans are very basic in formulating themselves, if anything tires me out with those people. It would have be for the same reason as reading your comments. Monotoneous repetitions of the same things over and over, and expected comebacks and phrases.
People around here is not expected to be stiff and anal-boring debating pricks. But some order would be nice if you feel like you have something to argue about with someone else, and knowing when to shut up is a sign of maturity i believe. And that means in the obvious cases when people are apparently just having fun fucking around with you. Behaving that much, helps make this or any other site into a more pleasent and fun place to hang around at. And you can post and act whicheever way you want, but if you become annoying as hell and spam the site with utter shit seemingly forever, then i react whether you like it, care or not.
As for order, well. Naturally i would like order before disorder, i believe most people; who aren't labile or burdened with mental issues would agree about that. Unfortuneatly however there are way too many people who can't handle life, this is clearly reflected on their fake internet personalities, and it is an obvious way to vent their feelings and frustrations onto others who recide in the same realms. I happen to be in the middle, and im grumpy about that. And just like in reallife i let people know that i am content or discontent. But usually im just a neutral goofy motherfucker who accepts and tolerates everyone who behaves.

I guess the only thing that's kept me from heading off as well, is the lack of worthier sites. No matter where you go, it might be fun for 5 minutes. so i decided we should have a conversation about Nature of Life. u see, my philosophy is this: At a point of time you have it, and then you don't. I mean think about it, there are so many people we know of, who had it, but they no longer have it.. Like Ghandi, Jesus, Hitler, Heath Ledger, and Steve Irwin, just to name a few. There is no doubt that at a point of time they had life. Now, however, they don't... So I have come to a conclusion that, most likely, most of us are gonna die at a point of time. Therefore, those of you that hate each other should rejoice at the simple truth of life...

here's a bit of a random question that just came to mind: do you think if hitler had succeeded in unifying a race, all of our racial divisions would have been cured, or do you think humans would just go about creating new divisions?
I seem to think that we'd still segregate ourselves into groups just the same, just over some other minute differences we'd stir up - i.e. height, weight, speech, intelligence, etc. it's a seemingly natural and somewhat necessary aspect of the human condition to group together and organize, such as racism itself. Racism is prevalent in every culture for atleast all of documented history, and i'm guessing it goes as far back as the first humans.
racism, nationalism, high school cliques, hating a fan that cheers for a different soccer team, etc. it's all the same really, and it will manifest itself one way or another as long as humans are around.
btw, that little rant was just another excuse to put off finishing this paper i'm writing at the current moment. ignore it, embrace it, atleast I got to waste another 10 minutes. |

Debating is part of our culuture & mentality therefore I like deabating as long the theme is worth talking about it.
So, you're saying we should rejoice instead of hating each other etc; ? I don't hate anybody here; If I had to hate someone that means I would have loved it before I end up hating it ! Nor I'm indifferent, which is worse than hating someone. No, I just have to react against some comments. Not I wished to have a Swedish blood and being dead cold to everything but i guess it's in my nature to have some hot blood.
Although, I'm very conscious how life is short and therefore we should enjoy our life as much as we can in a very positive way according the circumstances of our daily life.
@ Coclearium: the answer to your question is in the human nature to create divisions and merely anything would have been cured. It's in the human nature to always to want & to have more. We never get enough what we have. There will always be a reason to have something more & to go further.

Hitler and Stalin both had the same idea of ridding society of classes. Something that is always a nice thought in theory. But in practice classes are invisible barriers created by peoples attitude to one another, something that can't be changed unless you change the condition of the individual mentalities. Which of course is impossible in a semi-free society, where people are urged to think freely but hindered from speaking in the same manner for fear or expectance of reprisals.
As for social groups, those exist i think for the same reason as the classes do. Only these groups aren't defined by personal belongings, money or social status. They are rather more ruled by personality traits, behaviour, oppinions and interests.
And it sure is one of lifes little struggles for the majority of the populace. To be accepted and belong to and in a certain group. And everyone has their own reasons, be it dumb as fuck or naturally understandable.
*takes a sip from the coffee* .. I guess the most reasonable people, are the ones who makes no effort to put up a fake personality in order to gain access to a group of their liking. People who aren't true to themselves turn out to be the worst fuckers in my oppinion. That is why you see so many assholes who apparently belong to the Cool group, fakes amongst naturals.
As commonly known, you can't appoint yourself as a cool person, that's for others to decide. However, you can appoint yourself to nerd and nobody will challange you. This argument once led me to distance myself from groupings entirely on the basis of it's ridiculous concept. I say 'once'. Because the cool and/or nerd tag loses it's meaning after you passed your early/mid 20's, or whenever you grow up (some people never do). Now it's not about being cool or nerd that matters, but rather what education you have, what kind of work you have, what car you drive, how you live, what you make etc etc.
Personally i apply the cool/nerd argument i philosophied about once on life in general. Either you stay true to yourself and do whatever you feel is right for you. Or you act and speak to apese other people, which only ends with you squandring your life. And empty people without self worth who are grouped together want nothing more than that to happen, they thrive on other peoples failures. What those people hate they have group/s to put you in to let you know they aren't apesed. It's the ancient God vs Man syndrome. Live up to expectations, or be damned if you don't.
I lean towards damned, i much rather rule myself than to be ruled by lesser minds. Because in essence, the ruling mind are lesser than the mind which promotes freedom of thought and acceptence. It takes more effort, patience and personal exerts to understand, than to rule. And constant obedience to anything will only result in accepting without questioning. And questioning things is fundamental in order to reach answers and provide you with personal oppinions and arguments. And eventually it puts you outside of any group or class.

As for social groups, those exist i think for the same reason as the classes do. Only these groups aren't defined by personal belongings, money or social status. They are rather more ruled by personality traits, behaviour, oppinions and interests.
And it sure is one of lifes little struggles for the majority of the populace. To be accepted and belong to and in a certain group. And everyone has their own reasons, be it dumb as fuck or naturally understandable.
*takes a sip from the coffee* .. I guess the most reasonable people, are the ones who makes no effort to put up a fake personality in order to gain access to a group of their liking. People who aren't true to themselves turn out to be the worst fuckers in my oppinion. That is why you see so many assholes who apparently belong to the Cool group, fakes amongst naturals.
As commonly known, you can't appoint yourself as a cool person, that's for others to decide. However, you can appoint yourself to nerd and nobody will challange you. This argument once led me to distance myself from groupings entirely on the basis of it's ridiculous concept. I say 'once'. Because the cool and/or nerd tag loses it's meaning after you passed your early/mid 20's, or whenever you grow up (some people never do). Now it's not about being cool or nerd that matters, but rather what education you have, what kind of work you have, what car you drive, how you live, what you make etc etc.
Personally i apply the cool/nerd argument i philosophied about once on life in general. Either you stay true to yourself and do whatever you feel is right for you. Or you act and speak to apese other people, which only ends with you squandring your life. And empty people without self worth who are grouped together want nothing more than that to happen, they thrive on other peoples failures. What those people hate they have group/s to put you in to let you know they aren't apesed. It's the ancient God vs Man syndrome. Live up to expectations, or be damned if you don't.
I lean towards damned, i much rather rule myself than to be ruled by lesser minds. Because in essence, the ruling mind are lesser than the mind which promotes freedom of thought and acceptence. It takes more effort, patience and personal exerts to understand, than to rule. And constant obedience to anything will only result in accepting without questioning. And questioning things is fundamental in order to reach answers and provide you with personal oppinions and arguments. And eventually it puts you outside of any group or class.

Amen to that, at 22 years of age, life up to this point has seemed to be one compromise after another. I have recognized this fact for sometime now and am finally putting the breaks on after I finish college in 5 weeks. To live in appeasement of those around you is hardly living. I distinctly remember the desire to be a part of the cool group as you speak of around 7th and 8th grade or so, only to find that it was filled to the brim with fake assholes. everyone was so eager to be accepted that they would sacrifice every last bit of themselves to achieve that level of status. Very sad actually, but once I made it to high school I was old enough to call it for what it is, and spent my efforts on making good friends rather than making popular friends.
You are very right when you say cool people are so naturally, but unfortunately are surrounded by sucker-bat posers who are desperate to be considered something they truly are not. It's quite a shameful thing to have to disregard yourself in order to promote yourself up the social food chain. What kind of a way to live is that? Just ask the general populous.
At this point in age, I'm surrounded by good friends and good people, and that certainly wouldn't have happened had I been putting on a fake face and an act these past 8 years; much of the opposite i presume. One of the most important personal skills to possess is consideration. Self-assessment and awareness, though often a double edged sword, is critical; I can imagine nothing worse than going to sleep with the feeling of having squandered a life with fakeness for some petty social cause. It certainly doesn't go away with age either. Growing up in a suburban neighborhood, I think back and realize that the adults in the neighborhood were just as pathetic as us adolescents in their sickeningly desperate search for acceptance from one another.
Regardless, there are much finer things in life, and i intend to explore them in full now that i have finished this obligatory 16 year schooling sentence.
btw, i have been sorting out plans to travel up to sweden and norway with a few good friends sometime between may and july. any recommendations for a $3,000 budget? i'm not looking for mainstream attractions, much the opposite really. so if you know of any hidden wonders, i would be much obliged if you might point me in the right direction |
