Tased For Speeding

In my first comment I wrote that I didn´t think it was right that he took him down with a taser. Somebody got their knickers all in a twist over that. I see his point but come on, the guy to me looked scared and was backing off. He didn't show signs of physical violence he just wanted to see the sign. Your thoughts...

i looked it up it was an officer mclean he said he would create a username on all the sites that posted the vid and try to defend his unrightous actions

that was bang out of order he asked once then got out his taser obviously the guy was shocked turned around and he asked (didnt tell him) then tazerd him the guy was lucky he choose not to shoot him(26 times)

Refusal to sign means you go to jail. Resisting a lawful order LAWFUL which means the cop tells you to do something and you dont he can and will light you up. 	The Driver was wrong. The Officer was wrong. The driver should get a week in jail. The Office should lose his job. The taser has been long called "Non-lethal", but there have been several deaths just in the past few months caused by being tased. Can you imagine this Dumb-ass hick cop killing this guy in front of his wife and kids (Who you can hear crying in the back seat)? He tased him next a foot next to a major highway, and when the driver was tased, it appeared that he fell INTO the traffic lane. If the taser would have killed him, or a driver would have killed him when he fell over, that state would have been sued for its entire budget by that family, and they would have won, over some retard cop that got all excited. THE COP COULDN'T EVEN TELL THE DRIVER HIS SPEED! Officers like this one who are clearly in it for the power and money because they are too stupid to go get an education and job that they would be better suited for is what makes people hate Police Officers. It's an absolute shame, because there are a great deal of good officers out there.

	thats not right at all, i took 3 law classes while in highschool and graduated at the top of my class, he didnt read him his rights for one, when you are arrested the police officer HAS to read you your rights and tell you what you are arrested for, and to be given a ticket the police officer has to have your EXACT speed caught on the radar gun. or there is no ticket. The fact the guy got tazer is his fault for not listening. but the cop didnt read him his rights which is then an illegal arrest. when he told him to read him his right, the cop should have read them to him and told him what he was being arrest for, and it wasnt speeding, it was for FAILING TO CO-OPERATE WITH A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER. 	actually when you're arrested, you don't need to be mirandized. its not until you're questioned that it counts. any information you volunteered can be used against you in court even if u havn't been read your rights. if you are questioned though, any incriminating information u give is inadmissable unless u were mirandized before the questioning. The police officer also does not need to have your exact speed to right a ticket, after several years, most offficers can accurately tell your speed with just their eyes. Cops also don't have to tell you your rights if you ask for them and you have not been under arrest. someone said it right a few comments back, even if you think your rights are violated, you still have to do what the cop says and settle it in court afterwards.

A weapon (paton, gun or tazer) is never used unless deem necessary. Any weapon can cause serious harm, so don't put yourself in a situation that warrants the use of a weapon against you. Morons. A police officer is not a Court Judge. That's where the kid can plead his case. The police responded to a speeder as he's suppose to. 	First of all. Officers work for civilians and the state/federal government to protect citizens. They should not attack citizens for what is definitely no reason whatsoever.. 	I believe that the police officer was acting withing his rights, but went about things with which seemed to be a lack of experience. There were alot of worse things that could have happened here. Signing a ticket here is NOT an admission of guilt, just a written promise to appear or in court or pay the ticket as well as saying the received a copy of the citation. By refusing to sign, they're refusing to appear, therefore it's a criminal offense, resulting in being booked, a second or third, fourth citation being issued, the car towed, etc. Sometimes they could just give them a copy of the ticket with a big REFUSED TO SIGN on the front, either which way, he will still have to pay it unless he can prove later in court that he was in the right. This really is at the option of the police officer. In this case, he decided to arrest him. What he is trained to do. When he told the guy to turn around a put his hands behind his back. Thats what he should have done. His refusal justifies him pulling the tazer. (lucky it wasnt a gun) When he walks away, he is is further refusing....thus he got tazered. 	To start with, the cop stopped in front of the speed limit sign, the guy could not see the sign, he could well see the cop's car and would not speed if he had a chance to see the sign. This way the cop set him an unfair trap. Which means the cop is also clever enough to understand that this guy is surprised and confused about what is happening to him. He just looked for the slightest reason to use the taser. I my view the cop needs some counceling, clips like these are once more a proof that many officers are just gangsters with a licence to shoot.

ZAP 8 SECOND RIDE 7. The bottom line here is take the ticket you will have your day in court. I my self have been involved in a couple of shootings on stops like this walk up to the car for a speeding ticket and then bam the guy is out and I got shot. So please keep that in mind when your stopped by a state, county or local authority. HINT if you ever get stopped, pull off road, turn off car, remove keys put them on dash board and put your hands on the steering wheel in sight you will be surprised how much nicer the stop proceeds. people HAVE died from tasers, anyone from Canada knows about the controversy that is going on right now. A man was held up in a Canadian airport for 10+ hours and was tasered, he fell on the floor and was NO threat to anyone and they still tasered him again. And he died because of it. There is supposedly going to be a full review of tasers and their use / if they cause damage and what kind.

He filed a false police report, saying I instigated this whole fucking thing and that I threatened him with a gun. The police CHANGED my true statement to corroborate with the "victims". My case was dismissed because the PIGS would NOT provide the tapes of the interviews and the "victim" would not cooperate with the the prosecutor as I wanted to go to trial. This "victim" was nothing but a wanna be gangster, punk ass bitch, and these pigs power hungry lying faggots that have no real life experience, they rule the streets with a black and white from their police academy manuals. This was confirmed by a few of my cop "friends". I used to respect the law but fuck these PIGS forever. So any of you "children" that think your bad-asses, think twice b4 threatening someone, because if I was a gun-toting hothead (I'm not) this bitch would've been road kill.
