Teenage kid is using his dad's credit card when he walks in. As you can imagine dad's not to happy about it.

Yeah man I dont understand it....This is a huge problem in America (parents not beating or spanking thier kids) I was just watching the news the other day and it was talking about how in Massachusetts they are about to make it "against the law" for parents to whip or spank thier children. I love/hate my country

If this is real, the father obviously never taught the kid about respecting people around him.
This kind of thing happens a lot, parents don't want to be bothered by actually having to raise their kids and either sit them in front of the tv or send them to their friends houses.
Well this is usually the result,a kid who doesn't give a shit about anything.The mother and father deserve everything they get from this crappy kid.
The ones I feel sorry for is the rest of society who usually end up having to deal with this out of control kid.  |

thing is, he mustve brought him up badly as a kid for him to be maxing out his credit card, i remember when i was 8 i stole 20 quid from my mum, and, well, never did anything like that again    |

I disagree 100% !!! And I can easly prove my point... I hate it when peeps make statements like this... "Well, its because of the way he was raised" or "Well, its his parents fault he did that"... You are what you are the day you are born... Cast in point: Have you ever known two brothers where one did good in school, and turned out to be an outstanding member of the community later in life... Where as there brother was just the opposite, did bad in school, turned out to be a piece of shit in life... Yea, we all have, and they came from the same parents and background... And what about peeps like Opra Winthrop, she came from the ghetto, she was sexual abused and treated like a piece of shit as a child... But she turned out to be on the forbes 400, and is considered to be a pretty nice person...

Oprah Winfrey was able to become what she is today because of her father who was able to make her focus on her education.If she had stayed with her mother who knows what would have happened.
Just because two kids are raised in the same house,that doesn't always mean they get the same treatment from the parents.
Some children are born with special abilities like being able to excel in school(case in point: Oprah;she was always able to excel in school),if one of the kids is born with that ability and the other one isn't, a lot of the time the parent will expect both to perform at the same level,and if they don't;they tend to be harder on the sibling, which leads to resentment.
Even if it's just in the one siblings head that he is inferior to the other sibling,it's up to the parents to help him see himself for his own strength's( everyone has strength in some area).
My point in all this is that kids tend to be products of their environment.Spending a little extra time teaching them about life early on,can save a lot of hassle later on. |
