What oil-crisis? America is using all the oil they can dig and pump up (it's a loooong time until they run empty) . And then they blame Europe and Asia for doing the same.. Mmm..

Well you need to understand that we use gas for a lot of things over here... You know like washing our cars, cleaning floors, washing clothes, bug killer, weed killer, and just whole multitude of things... Gas is just so cheap here, and we have so much of it that we use it for a lot of stuff... But you guys over there better damn well conserve on it over there, so we'll have plenty over here... lol...

If you americans would pay what We pay here in Europe, the fucking Liter, which is about 2 US$, I believe you'd be using the bycicles like the dutches do ! No more V8 pick up truck that guzzle 30 Liters to the 60 miles, back to the old traditional 4 cylinders ! Besides, someone from the US should explain to me/us why do you have such a BIG engine with such ridiculous speed limits ! Logically you should have small engines (like the fucking japanese) which are much more coherent to your speed limiters ! As a result, you wouldn't be the biggest polluters in the world ! Which leads to no more war in fucking Irak or Iran and an affordable cost of living in our daily life !!! Among Others ! |

The way the guy just rides a bike along side videoing to the way the cops asks for license ownership registration He had no idea what to ask for since it wasn't a motor vehicle. Looked like he was going through a rule book to decide what to cite them with. And no way this is the US because they would have been harassed and within a few minutes tazed. What can I say, if you got it and its cheap, your going to burn it... I do try to watch it myself, my cars get about 20 mpg average, I think that must be 5 miles a liter... But your right, America has half the cars in the world... So we could make the biggest differance if we would... I think most people buy big cars for safety, so like if you get in a wreck...

Give us a break, we need big trucks to haul all the cheap Chinese made junk home from the discount store.
honestly though, change is coming. As gas prices rise more and more ppl will conserve and change their habits. Freedom to get in a car/truck and drive wherever they want is an American way of life and its not going to go easy. |

You need a big engine to handle the weight that is carried in these trucks,a four banger just won't cut it. |

I am pretty sure the guy produced his licence, its not that he wasn't qualified to drive it, its the fact that the thing only goes 15km/h on a residential street you are able to go 50 km/h in most places. So you don't expect someone to be going less than a 1/3 of the speed limit. The got stopped because it was dangerous and in Canada you can get tickets for going to slow. |
