I love that car, to be so fast and powerful, I
think it looks relatively conservative...

Actually no it cost me just 25, but I'm bored of that car now so I've decided to buy a lada.

The car is sweet, but its still can't beat the good old American made SSC Ultimate Aero TT... The Aero is the world's fastest production car with a top speed of 256.14 mph (412.233 km/h)... And the Aero only cost half as much, damnit man we Americans are good...

I am very sorry to contradict you Copycat, BUT the Bugatti Veyron on "Top Gear" was filmed at 414,00 KM/Hours !!! I'm very serious and you can watch it on youtubes of course. Sorry mate, but only the German machinery rules .... And I'm not even German but I must admit that they are the only capable to build real cars or any piece of machinery ! In fact, they invented the car in the 19th Century with Daimler-Mercedes and much later... the team of Space Engineering of NASA was coming from the team of ...I'll tell you if want to know.

loma !!! You better go check your numbers again mate... The Bugatti Veyron has a top verified speed of 253.81 mph (408.5 km/h), and that is what it did on Top Gear, I seen the show... I just don't make up number out of the air, my number are right... The Ultimate Aero TT top speed was verified by Guinness World Records on October 9 2007, given the world's fastest production car title... Sorry mate, but the facts are the facts...

Right on Mitch, but the way they classify these cars as production cars leaves much to the imagination. My neighbors son just bought a new Lotus Exige S, & I don't know how they can consider it a production car. They delivered the car to his home, took him out for a steak dinner, then spent the better part of a day on a rented national race course making sure he knew how to drive it. Damn, why didn't they do that when I bought my Sienna Limited?

I guess things are a little different when you buy a car that cost as much as a house, I wouldn't know myself... But yea that new Lotus Esprit is very nice... I've only seen pics, I see a few of the older ones around town, but I've yet to see a new one... I guess I'll just keep driving my old beat up Mitsubishi 3000 GT till it falls apart... One of my buddy got a new corvette a month ago, and its real nice too... And I guess I could get one too if I want to give up a few other things like eating... lmao !!!

i think we all know the car that wins it hands down...the toyota corolla... no other car can live for 20-30 years and still rip a little burnout and send a car of 5 dumb juveniles (namley me n mates ) sideways around corners with the help of maccas trays.

oh god, i thank thee for thy toyota corolla

EATING? you would let a "little" thing like eating hold you back? Food does have a certain appeal. When you're born poor instead of good looking you have to select your priorities. Now as to me, I was born not so good looking and disgustingly middle class. Consequently, my priorities varied in accordance with conditions. When I was single I was driving Porsches, flying private aircraft, & living in a mobile home park. Once my wife to be came along, sports cars 'flew" out the window along with a Piper tripacer.

With the stability of a wife came a brick home and all the proper trappings. I look back occasionally, as is wont for married men, but they've never made a car as much fun to drive as a good [partner for life] wife. As to the Lotus, I'm not altogether sure I could fit my 6'4" frame into it. I know I couldn't drive the Lotus Elan. Porsches, since the 312-1600 super which I once owned, have always been built to hold oversize kraut bodies but British cars are frequently less than accommodating. I'm upset with the neighbors son as he flew down, and left the Lotus in the stable, so I don't get a ride.

You said Lotus Exige not Esprit back there, ooops I guess I just like that Esprit better... lol... And I was happily married at one time with that brick house, cars, boat and all the rest... But my wife didn't much like my cheating ways... So she divorced me and took everything I had... But hey, I'm not bitter I'm happy I just don't have all the things I once did... I know my sex life is a lot better now, and thats a good thing... And I know what you mean about the size of British sports cars, Its a pain for me getting my 6 foot self in and out of my car now... I would look like a real fool trying to get in a Lotus... Are all British peeps must 5' 8" or smaller ??? But I still think maybe I could just get a convertible and keep the top down and drive it in nice weather...

I know what your mothers name is, what you ate for dinner last night, where you work, how many times a day you fart, for not to mention how many times your girlfriend "comes" when you jump her.

You're right, my bad, it is 407 KM/H. But the advantage with the Veyron is that even at high speed, you don't have to fight with the steering wheel to keep the car on the road.

I wouldn't see that as a big problem, I rarely feel the need to go over a couple hundred kp/h... But I like the Veyron better for its appearance, and its more dependable German engineering... But then again the Aero is half the price of the Veyron... Oh the hell with it, I don't see myself buying either one of these cars any time soon...

Well, at the hefty price of 1,2 million Euro the piece, I'm not a psychic but I know that in this life, many others & myself on this planet, will never be able to afford it. The Veyron is masterpiece of technology. VW Group loose 5 MILLION Euro on every solded Veyron !!!

Neverthelesss, I own a brand new Volkswagen Polo (1.9 TDI) with 130 BHP ! It zooms like a BULLET up to 225 KM/Hours ! Mercedes drivers, in particular, are always giving me a nasty look considering the size of/power of my car when I overtake them ! It's the entire beauty of this car : being a powerfull car without any exterior signs of it ! In the next spring, I'll tune it with MTM (German tuner) up to 160 BHP + Sports suspensions (K&W). I'll show the proof of it, I promise. (the car's weigh is about 1265 KG) which means, a lot of power for an acceptable heavyness.

Cheers mate.
