Firstly im not concerned about the amount of people watching the game, anyway less people means less noise, mess, and faster exit in and out of the arena
Secondly, we swedes only have soccer up here, actually the swedish name for it is Fotboll , and i don't know what's up with all this debating wheter or not american football should be called football or not .. Seems like any sport with the name football in it stirs up alot of emotions and catfights. Hockey prevails yet again |

I was merely pointing out, that the difference in mentality between religious fanatics and soccer fans are pretty damn thin. Raving Soccer fans (which seems to be the majority) treat the game in the same manner as fanatics are treating religion, to the fans soccer has become a religion. So you see how far off the edge it has gone .. And they have already displayed a variety of actions from the biblical era
I don't know why american football is always brought up as i have stated in previous comment. This isn't about americans, this is about soccer which to my perception is a global thing, with americans being excluded more or less (Be happy about this americans). Besides, you don't see the same behaviour from american football fans. They are pretty much like the hockey fans, they don't behave as though they were in prison like soccer fans seem to do. It's a bitch when you happen to say something negative about a certain team and ending up getting shanked because of it
There was a time when soccer actually was watchable and decent, and seen as a gentleman's sport but that was decades ago now. These days you might think even soccer fans believe they will end up with 72 virgins |
