| Sorry, I gotta call fake, it looks to setup. The guy with the gun, shoves it toward the cashier, like he was trying to give the dog a good shot at his arm. Whereas most robberies would have the guy pointing the gun at the cashier from a safe distance. Anyways, that what I see, but I'vbe been wrong before. |

^^it doesn't look the least bit fake to me. what would motivate a gun shop owner to fake a video like this?
I do wonder though why he wouldn't just grab one of the 60 guns behind him and cut that guy down to size. |

something tells me theres a safety regulation somewhere in the American law that doesn't allow gun stores to keep 60 loaded guns within grabbing reach of the clerk (and possibly the robber)

WELL, something tells me that if you are completely surrounded by guns, you are going to have at least 1 loaded one within a couple of feet of the cash register. I imagine most gun shop owners are blood thirsty opportunists. |

Being a gun buff myself, I have to say this does look kinda setup but I don't think so... Like Coclearium said, "what would motivate a gun shop owner to fake a video like this" and not only that... What would motivate that guy to let that dog chew his ass up... I know he could be wearing protective clothes, but we can see theres nothing on his hands, and boy a dog like that could mess them up for life fast... And as for gun shop owners being blood thirsty opportunists... No, I know 2 or 3 on a personal level and there mostly hunters slash gun collectors like myself that have taken there obsession a step further... You must have been thinking about cops, most of them are blood thirsty opportunists...

While I'll admit it does look staged, anyone that makes a move for a gun while they have one pointed at themselves is a movie cowboy, or an idiot. Especially when the holdup is in a gunstore where the robber can expect armed resistance.

Okay,
First - look at the robbers jacket sleeve, theres a patch there that the dog bites on. It may look like a elbow patch, but it isn't in the right place.
Second - He looks like he's trying to poke the guy with the gun, like he's making sure that the bite spot is in a good position so as he won't get really bitten.
Third - The store worker/owner/whatever doesn't look or act all that surprised or freaked out. And personally, I would have knock the shit out of the guy with something while the dog was biting him.
Fourth - If I had a gun and a dog did that, once the dog let go, I'd shoot the dog so it wouldn't chase me then run.
And Finally - Why would a Gun Store owner fake something like that? Why is anyone faking half or most the crap you see on the net? To get his 15min of fame, like everyone else. |

Teenagers fake videos, these are not teens... If you watched the video you can see that the guy drops his gun... And I don't much think that dog was going to be looking for that patch when he got over that counter... And as for the way the guy acted, well yes if they were faking this, you would think he would have acted more surprised and maybe hit the guy with something when he got a chance... The way he acted just made it look more real to me... But screw it, we'll never know for sure...

after watchin it a few more times, the way he throws his arm over the counter for the dog to bite is a bit too suspicious. i'll agree with naysayers.
i find it pretty annoying that half of these videos have to be fake, what's the damn point? did he think his friends would think it's cool when he told them he got a fake video posted all over the internet? i doubt that very much. |

Your right I didn't see him drop the gun, but that in itself makes me believe its fake. The guy wasn't stuggling that much, and I'm surprised he didn't pop off a couple of rounds to scare or hopefully hit the dog.

Ya, that did strike me as a bit staged what with the "patch" or already torn place on dudes jacket & the waqy he stuck his arm over the counter...what a tard! Plus it looked like he had truoblt getting the gun out in the first place...but it was funny at the end if yuo watch it again when the guy helps the dog over the counter and the punk runs.
My experience at gun shops has been that all of them carry loaded guns on them for protection. So that sort of thing will never happen.

because its illegal to keep the guns loaded. unless he got the robber to give him a head start so he could load a gun off the wall. im sure the robber would understand. he has to make sure the clerk has a fair chance. |

Yes it's not only illegal but stupid to keep the "for sale" guns loaded, but I've never seen a gunshop or pawnshop owner or emoloyee that didn't have a loaded gun (usually) openly carried on their hip. FAKE, PLAIN AND SIMPLE! |

Well Karl I am know living in Yadkin Valley NC, wine country... There are fucking grapes everywhere and I hate wine... As for my cat liquidation device, [I think most people call it a wood chipper] I've tried to get Scott to post 1 of my videos of me shoving bags full of kittens threw the CLD or wood chipper... But he seems to think that the gore factor is just a little to high for our YDM members... And as for this video, I have done a number of searches trying to find something in the news about this robbery, but to no avail... So I guess I'm going to have to concede, and say that its fake... But it was a pretty good fake and I did put up a good argument I think... |
