| okay, given that the whole "emo trend" is ridiculous by itself....i feel that media's attempts to uncover or expose teenage trends is far more ridiculous and embarrassing. seriously, we all know its a joke, but its been going on forever, as far as music trends are concerned. Get the news out of it, and the concerned parents, its just a waste of time. its called "growing up." and its happened with everything from country to jazz, from r&b to rock n' roll, to punk and hip hop, to gothic and hardcore, from metal to emo....whatever. you might as well dish out a rehash of the whole "D&D conspiracy." kids are fucked up, they've always been... |

I agree. I get so sick of the local news stations attempting to make a story on shit. They don't have enough material to fill up their 1 hour evening news time slot so they try to get stories out of nonsense. It is a matter of growing up. If those kids want to be retarded and lose out on the best time of their lives well then so be it! |

In fact why don’t we all go there and see how we can improve the west.
