	OK, a good competition air rifle pellet travels at around 150 meters per second, multiply that by 2.24 (miles per hour) thats only 336 miles per hour, but you cant see them because they are too small. In my early army days I was firing 105 Howitzer field guns, the back end of them is about the same dia as a tennis ball, they have a muzzle velocity of 504 MPS (depending on the charge used) and you can watch them fly down the range for quite a few seconds before they get out of sight even more so on the 155s, 684 MPS but they are much bigger.

	You can't compare a pellet with a tennis ball. The tennisball has way way more surface area. You can't compare it to any aerodynamic metal object either.
