That's definitely not death metal though.
Hatebreed is more..."hardcore" i guess you could say, if that was even hatebreed to begin with. Maybe his musical taste will develop later |

Yeah those dudes are amongst the first ones i started listening to. "Altars of madness" is still one of the best albums made if you ask me... I never had the prevelige to meet them though
But i did get to meet my all time favourite death metal band (Bolt Thrower) earlier this year... It was 10 years since they were here last time. Usually the singers look mean when they get into the gig... But it seems like everyone named Karl (The singer)is just smiling their way through everything
They were the first band i started listening to in the death scene. And the guys played their part creating the whole sound... "The realm of chaos" album will be the last i listen to if im laying on the deathbed one day
The very last tune is reserved for Albinoni's - Oboekonsert op 9 nr 2.. Hear it and weep |

Bolt Thrower is definitely cool! Haven't seen them live....YET! Altars of madness is a classic indeed!
Wanna checkout some death metal mixed with....some real talent? Check Necrophagist, death metal with neo-classical influences, every single person in this band is talented to the max, check it out you won't regret it, they're not "too brutal and noisy" they're just perfect.Check out their album Epitaph.

Hmmm, these weren't too shabby i must admit "Stabwound" was the best one, a bit more technical play with the axes in that one which i like.
Something that might put a smile on your face is the UK death metal band "Ten masked men", they only seem to do covers on fameous songs of artists like Billy idol, michael jackson... And britney spears lmao! ... If you havent heard anything of them before, i strongly recommend that you do. They sound fucking terrific, i just wish they would do some material of their own

Best place i could dig up to play some of their tunes it doesnt seem to be any samples on their site.... Anyway, The eye of the tiger cover is something you dont wanna miss as a death metal fan.. |

Haha, real good indeed. Though your link didn't quite work, I managed to find them myself.
My friend was so amused by them, that they are gonna cover some songs of them
Oh and if you liked Stabwound, check out "foul body autopsy" and "fermented offal discharge" the solo on that song begins exactly at the 3 minute mark. un-fucking-believable, and pretty long too.best solo death metal has seen in a long while. |

Well what can i say, Ten masked men, and Six feet under has made some real classy covers on fameous songs. It has to crack you up hearing some of them
Hmm have to search for those tunes then, cause i dont have them here ... Well one goes through litteraly hundreds of bands in one year.. In my case alot of genres. I listen to just about everything ranging from folk/classical to the most extreme metal. But sort out more than i keep... People tend to think my ears arent rightly tuned musically, but im picky as hell really.
I only piss on hip-hop and rap and that sort of stuff, anything without proper instruments are tossed in the bin at once.. some works out in the bars and those joints. but not in the stereo at home for pete's sake. |

So true, I listen to folk, some jazz, lots of blues (love the guitar), but mostly metal and extreme metal. Ten masked men are hilarious.
And yes, I hate techno, electro and rap. Well I wouldn't say hate...but "dislike strongly"?? |
