After removing the pin the policeman quickly managed to throw it away, accidentally throwing it at another cop.

	Have to be in a situation like it before one could pass proper judgement i think... The guy with the grenade could toss it at people further away after all. And i think that's why the cops were so close to him, not easy to react in seconds. But understandably the cop tossed the grenade away from himself.
