An insane gun fight takes place out side the court house when an enraged man opens fire with an AK-47.

hes a bad ass tough, you saw how many cops he took out? thats due to a lot more than the AK, he just didnt really care if he died so he wasnt scared to trade shots with cops. |

that guy was a bit crazy but seemed very focused on the task in hand. i liked the bit where he peppered the courthouse lobby and knocked down those cops.
seems like those AK's are very effective for a rifle designed 60 years ago. |

The two killed at the courthouse have now been identified: Maribel Estrada, the estranged wife of the alleged shooter, David Hernandez Arroyo, and citizen Mark Wilson. Wilson is licensed to carry a concealed weapon and fired several shots at Arroyo. Arroyo, however, was wearing a bulletproof vest.
Yup David was the shooter alright, but caught his last bullet on the highway, as for wilson though... did he live or not... confusing.

Yup, technically they were designed by the germans in 1944 and went under the name of Sturmgewehr, the first assaultrifle built.

Quite strikingly alike the kalashnikov design as well i might add... And they are indeed effective, i shot both the AK-47 and the AK-74 in the army, the only version i never got to try was the AKSU-74 that would of been neat!. Love the AK's. |

That was some insane shit i swear u can see his head pop when he gets shot . And about the AK47, that is an awsome weapon and the most poular in the entire world, thats because the mechanism is unbeleivably simple yet very effective at firing high powered rounds at a fast rate. Those damn aks work even if u fill with water |

Well, lord knows i would get one if i lived over there. But to my knowledge full auto ain't legal in the states (Even though i might say *cough* i wouldn't give a shit). It's just a matter of not talking about in the open, as say for instance on the net . Full auto shouldnt be much of a problem to fix really, if you're handy you can do it yourself. It's all in the trigger assembly... Also, if you can come across some Warsaw pact ammo for your AK, you are definately ready for war.
Another advice for you, is to try and get a hold of an SVD Dragunov cheek piece, they fit the AK just nicely. Especially nice if you mount an aimpoint on your gun... Have fun!

I'm starting to come back around now... That little cheeky thing might work well on my Winchester Model-70 .223... But that AK I got as a fire from the hip spray gun should I ever need one... I don't know if it was the cheap surplus ammo I was using [I've not tried reloading any of my own yet..] or what... But the one time that I have taken the AK out and shot it... It was not a very accurate shooter... Its just a cheap stamped out Russian made gun, they made millions of them... Oh and asdfgasd I'm glad you enjoy... And Fulgore owning a gun doesn't make you a nut case.. I have never shot anyone or even pointed a gun at anyone... I just enjoy hunting and I eat what I kill... |

Rofl! no worries mate, i'll just pretend you never wrote it
Also that cheeky piece:
http://www.sturmgewehr.com/bhinton/SVD_Dragun
ov/SVDbuttstockw.pad.jpg
It may be the AK-74 it fitted on, my memory is failing me... But in any case one should be able to craft it so that it fits, it's really comfortable.
http://www.rusmilitary.com/
I recommend checking out this place as well, they seem to have about everything you could want as an AK owner. And more.
"But the one time that I have taken the AK out and shot it... It was not a very accurate shooter... Its just a cheap stamped out Russian made gun"
Sheet-metal-workhorse as our captain called it... And to the best of my memory the boltcarrier was a bit flimsy, might be due to the excessive use. I dont have any civilian use of it, in other words i've got no real personal experience in regard to improving the accuracy. But the ammo as you say most certainly plays a big part, i also know there are third party recoil, sear and ejector springs to buy. American made i believe. I could see what i could dig up about it... But i dont think one should expect to fire clove patterns with those rifles in the end though, they were made primarily for reliability. And for the civilian, the sheer joy of shootin' |

Yeah i know, izhmash is the manufacturer of em, and mikhail designed the AK alright. But i and many others see it as a copy with modifications. When you look at the Sturmgewehr you see it quite clear, and the wrong guy got all the cred for it in my oppinion. |

ok, i see what you're saying. but if the credit goes for designing and building the first assault rifle the sturmgewehr would have it. the AK was successful because of it's proliferation. it isn't surprising if the AK was copied. it's what the soviets did best. replicate and make cheaper. |

England - Sweden 2-2, and quite the match too.
Considering the score i suppose everyone should be happy, but some english supporters might be going arse over tit. Considering how many games there's been without an english victory over the swedish team, but i suppose the greatest english loss was Owen getting injured in the first half
In any case in the wake of the game we drew the shortest straw, meeting the fucking krauts in the next game. And we haven't beaten those lads since 1958, so in that regard it's pretty ironic that we get the team we havent beaten for a consecutive amount of years, and the brits just met us in a likewised cicumstance.... lol to that.
Something tells me we're getting raped, owned and bleeding from the arse after the game against germany |
