don't get me wrong, this clip is funny as hell, but i've got to wonder if this guy brings the force of his "moral clarity" against the use of hip-hop to advertise the use of alchohol, drugs and the proliferation of violent and misogynist gang culture.

my guess would be "no" because they don't fit into the anti-capitalist frame. "conciousness altering" is something progressives like because it numbs the masses, drugs are something they won't attack because their favorite dictators and terrorist groups are the merchant suppliers, and chaos and lawlessness in communities of color is a plague progressives have been exploiting since the seventies, when white anticapitalists would call black gangmembers "natural marxists".
