	I saw it on a Japanese TV show. As I recall, they were Thai friends driving their bike recklessly. They both survived and a later clip was shown of them on a Thai talk show. Pretty amazing!

	I also heard of an impaling like this in... I think it was Mexico. It was on Real TV. They were driving on a 2 lane highway when the car ahead of them had stopped suddnely, so they swerve to avoid hitting the car but ended up hitting into a truck with these pvc pipes, impaling them both. They had to be operated sitting up because the pipe was close to one of the guys' hearts. They operated by opening up their sides, closer to the pipe, moving the pipe out. Both of them ended up living and was on a late night tv show once. I don't know of this is the same one though. I haven't looked at this video, and don't plan on it either. The Real TV footage was enough for me.
