	No it doesn't. The monitor and respirator sets have a battery powered UPS that alarms when unplugged and lasts for about an hour..

Oh great... If i end up in hospital and some sod pulls the cord, i would go crazy from the alarm whilst staring constantly at the clock on the wall

	Haha that reminds me of the time I went to see my grandmother when she had pneumonia and my brother accidentally sat down on her oxygen tube :P Lucky for her she didnt actually need the tube that much, it was just as a precaution I think.
