	The word yankee refers to anyone that lives north of tennesse in eastern united states, The name comes from the united state's civil war. The civil war was a war between the north and the south, the north were called that yakees and the south was call the confederate. The name yankee stuck with the north, they call southern people "red necks, country hicks and hill billys"
