The bear was bloodied, but the lion was hiding in the corner at the end.
I say bear by split decision.
Next should be a male lion vs. a grizzly bear. I will bet on the grizzly. |

Lions are way quicker and have sharper nails. So even if it was a grizzly bear vs a male lion, the lion would of won because they are way faster. Well thats what i think..Any ways, stupid people, why the hell would they let 2 animals fight just for entertainement...  |

| Your an idiot. A male lion is not "way quicker" than grizzly bear. Maybe slightly, but a grizzly could out weight a lion by 2 or 3 times. As soon as the lion attacked the grizzly it would crush his skull with one blow to the head. |

| Bear can move at 60km/h while a lion maxes at 59km/h. The bear can keep running forever. Male lions have been pitted against Grizzly's by Koreans in the past and it lasted about 5 seconds. Male lion aggressively and bravely went at the bear. Bear stands up and delivers a blow to the skull. Skull breaks, lion dies. |

| Anyone who thinks ANY big cat that doesn't start with a "T" and end with an "R" has any chance against a grizzly bear is f'n sick in the head. Bears are vicious. Cats look cool, they fight cool, and have an appearance that suggests invincibility...but it's not true. Bears don't give that impression...they're just REALLY fuckin big. Bears are probably one of the 3 most vicious land animals on the face of the planet. I'm thinking bulls, rhinos, and gorillas as being some of the others that might rank up there. |

grizzly bear simply dwarves the lion, and most other animals too! Its bone density is one of the greatest in the world and it has been recorded killing mountain lions and cattle with a single swipe of its paw. We borrowed one impressive, fully grown, african male lion, and one gigantic male grizzly bear....
BLOW BY BLOW FIGHT REPORT: We borrowed the animals from the Moscow State Circus when they pulled up on the Toon Moor last summer. Them Russians must be desperate, £3.50 and chips & gravy all round and we had the animals for an hour!
On the Bell, the lion shot out to confront the bear. The bear looked like he couldn't care less. The lion suddenly pounced on the grizzly but was met by a short sharp left jab which put the lion down. It was clearly dazed.
The second attack went much the same except that the lion succeded in biting the bears paw. Then it happened... the lion in a lunging pouncing attack bit the bears nose, the only unprotected part of his body. At the same time however, the lion was thumped to the ground by a haymaking left paw slap. The lion was quite obviously killed instantly. Later inspection proved his skull had been caved in by the blow. But the drama was still unfolding, the bite to the bear's nose was a lot worse than anyone suspected, and the bear had lost quite a lot of blood... so much infact that he lost conciousness after some twenty minutes or so. |

| that bear was a black bear, one of the most unagressive bears compared to a grizzly, kodiak, or polar bear. that was a female lion. the lion slapped the sluggish bear around quite a bit, but the bear showed his male dominance and held is own throughout the scrap. at the end it showed who was the real BITCH, which was the female lion hiding in the corner as the bear could have scrapped more which the bear wins in an unsatisfying fight. a real fight would be a male lion versus and polar bear. id want to see that but, this is the fucking internet anything possible. |

| i dont know what fight you guys watched, the lion kicked the shit outa the beer then stood on its fuckin throne. The king of the jungle has no chance against any species of brown bear (grizzly or kodiak) or a polar bear...a brown bear is a bitch. A siberian tiger would put up a fight with all of the above bears, but a liger would be interesting (interspecies- male tiger, female lion) which in the case of "hercules" weighs 1200 pounds at 3 years of age and stands 11 feet tall on his hind legs. |
